Infinite Arms, Band of Horses’ third full length LP and first for Brown/Columbia, has achieved the bands highest record sales to date across the globe and has been received with wide critical acclaim.

Following its May 17 release the album reached #7 in the UK album chart mid-weeks selling over 8300 units in its first week. The album debuted in the UK album charts at #21, which was 128 places above their previous UK chart placing of 149 achieved by their second album ‘Cease to Begin’.

Internationally the album is seeing phenomenal success, in the US Infinite Arms debuted at #7 in the album chart, selling over 45,000 in its first week of release. It debuted #2 in Norway, top 5 in Sweden and Denmark, top 10 in Canada and top 20 in Australia and New Zealand.

This news comes in the wake of one of Band of Horses’ biggest touring achievements to date, main support on the North American Pearl Jam tour, during which BOH’s Ben Bridwell joined the headliners for multiple encores of “All Along The Watchtower” as well a very rare performance of Temple of the Dog’s “Hunger Strike” at Madison Square Garden.

Band of Horses venture back to this side of the pond on 4 June where they will headline Dublin Academy and on 5 and 12 June the band will be supporting one of the UK’s biggest exports, Snow Patrol, in Bangor and Glasgow respectively. As well as these huge outdoor shows they will be playing a handful of UK dates including a sold out Roundhouse in London and recently added show in Wolverhampton on 14 June.

Finally, the UK will see BOH’s return in a matter of months when they come back to play Reading and Leeds Festivals for the very first time, their much anticipated performance is set to be a highlight of the weekend.

A current list of dates is below, with many more to be announced soon.

Band of Horses is Ben Bridwell, Creighton Barrett, Ryan Monroe, Bill Reynolds and Tyler Ramsey.
