Orphan Boy @ Dublin Castle

Tonight I’m at the Dublin Castle in London’s Camden Town to check out Orphan Boy from Manchester, who just released their second album ‘Passion Pain & Loyalty’.  Orphan Boy – Rob Cross, Paul Smith and Chris Day – take to the stage as the crowd cheers eager to hear the sonic delights of this manchester band.

‘Passion Pain & Loyalty’ is a bit a departure from the bands debut ‘Shop Local’, which makes for a great live show and brings more variety to their sound with the edgy post punk sound of ‘Shop Local’ and the more melodic soundscapes of ‘Passion Pain & Loyalty’ . The band play good mix of the two albums including latest single ‘Popsong’ which was my highlight of the night.
