The city of Berlin is well known for bringing together people with different backgrounds. With DATA MC and NHAN & TAAN these differences couldn´t have been more explicit: Two Asian electro monks meet a South African Hip-Hop MC, who drops his rhymes to the beats of a producer duo consisting of Walera Goodman (originally hailing from Kazakhstan) respectively San Gabriel who is of argentinian-israelian decent. Both groups were no strangers to the scene nor to each other when dataMC approached Nhan & Taan for a possible cooperation.
What started as a remix for, ‘Too Young To Die’ became a full flegded collaboration resulting in one of the hottest tracks in both of the bands histories. This creative joint-venture makes the track this year´s fall sing-a-long. Positive vibes come across not only in sound but also in Ono´s lyrics celebrating a lust for life.
