Straight Lines announce headline tour in November

| On 22, Oct 2010

2010 has been one hell of a year for Welsh rockers STRAIGHT LINES. They began the year with the release of their incredible debut album ‘Persistence In This Game’ through Xtra Mile Recordings (Frank Turner, The Xcerts, Far…). The album picked up great reviews in the press (8/10 Rocksound, 4/5 Big Cheese, 3/5 Kerrang!) and excellent radio support with Kerrang! Radio making it their ‘Album of the Week’.
Tours followed with InMe, The Automatic, The Xcerts, The Get Up Kids and Attack! Attack! along with festival appearances at SxSW, Camden Crawl, Slam Dunk, SWN, Download and Sonishere. Throughout the year Straight Lines released three singles from ‘Persistence In This Game’; ‘Runaway Now’, ‘Loose Change’ and ‘Say It For Your Sake’.
The band have been busy working on new material for the follow up to ‘Persistence In This Game’ and will continue to write and demo new material throughout the winter and aim to release their new album in summer 2011. Here’s what the had to say about the band’s recent live performances:
“Straight Lines up the pace with a highly charged set of pure adrenaline that’s bolstered by their confident, enthusiastic stage performance. As a result, their already high-octane brand of poppy, punky, catchy rock is blistered with extra energy and aggression, turning this into a very special performance indeed.” – 5/5 Kerrang!
“Straight Lines are as tight as a cat’s arse and if you’re yet to find out for yourself, they’re more that worth a gamble…” – 9/10 Rock Sound
“Great songs, great performance…” – The Fly
