AS WE BRING 2010 TO A CLOSE CHECK OUT THE YEAR’S ACTION AT THE ALL-NEW TOPMAN CTRL SITE
December marks the concluding month of Topman CTRL for 2010 and taking charge of the revamped web site www.topmanctrl.com, as the year’s final Controllers are post-punk play-abouts The Futureheads. Accompanied by Frankie and The Heartstrings and Hot Club de Paris, Sunderland’s indie leaders close a year of top-notch gigs at The Shipping Forecast on December 7th.

With so much crammed into 2010…here are some of our favourite bits from a year of Topman CTRL….

American rockers We Are Scientists played a mind-blowing gig in Brighton, not before they put on a Punch and Judy show of course…

October saw the iconic Salford Lads Club join forces with Tim Burgess, who played an exclusive version of Smash The System for Topman CTRL….

Mystery Jets took us on a musical journey round the world in November followed by a sublime gig at Fibbers in York

2010 has been a rollercoaster ride of blinding bands and great gigs and as the year draws to a close the gates prepare to open for something bigger bolder and louder for 2011…

Topman CTRL will be back in 2011…watch this space…
