Evryone release their debut double a-side single, ‘Flamingos’/’Thrill Seeking’ on 24th January 2011, through Feraltone Records.

Evryone are a young British alternative pop band hailing from the Home Counties. Already picking up comparisons to TV On The Radio and Cold War Kids, Evryone create a blend of eccentric soul pop, which is delivered with brazen theatricality.

Tom Andrews, Nicholas Bovill and Chris Banner started the band twelve months ago after a chance meeting on a bus, where they were attracted by each other’s individuality and bonded over their mutual love of Jazz. The serene landscape of the Home Counties helped Evryone develop their sound, and while their peers moved out of the small town to embark on the city life, Evryone stayed behind to hone their art. Now ready to unleash their songs on the city Evryone come armed with an uncompromising ambition and something for everyone.

In their own words Evryone “is like walking slowly down a corridor of open doors, every room playing a different song”. On Flamingos Tom gives a stunning, soaring vocal performance that is complimented by the elementary piano and the cohesive bond between Chris and Nicholas. Thrill Seeking celebrates Evryone’s diversity with its sharpened edges and monolithic beat.

The magic in this band is the intelligence in their songwriting, and the electricity in their stage presence. They approach the songs live with such velocity and passion that when Tom’s spikey white-boy soul vocals are put against the swirling keys, Chris’s robotic drum-beats and the dark blues infused bass lines from Nicholas, it creates an intense atmosphere and a unique sound full of imagination. They are true to their band name in so many ways, not least by the integrity in which they attack these mighty songs.

2011 is for Evryone.

Evryone are:

Tom Andrews (Vocals/Keys), Nicholas Bovill (Bass/Vocals) and Chris Banner (Drums).
