Just over three minutes ‘Lucky -1’ is the reflection of the murky, dark underbelly of the electronica enhanced pop genre, layering repetitive synthesised beats and rhythms with Avey’s drawn out male vocals to reveals a shadow of emotions and dimensions encapsulated in the musical form and structure.
