Deerhunter to release ‘Memory Boy’ 7″; perform on Letterman last night

| On 24, Feb 2011

On April 11th, Deerhunter release ‘Memory Boy’, the second single to be taken from their widely celebrated latest album Halcyon Digest. The single is released on 16th April in the US as part of independent Record Store Day celebrations. Backed with a new track, ‘Nosebleed’, it will be available as a limited 7” single and as digital download.

Last night, the band expanded to a six piece to perform the track live on The Late Show with David Letterman, and with the addition of keys were able to experiment with the song’s structure and stretch it in new directions.
