There could be no more apt name for the debut album from Manchester’s Sara Lowes than Back To Creation, for this a record bubbling with the primordial soup of pop; a dozen songs packed full of imagination and invention. The title track alone takes you from icy Goldfrapp-style pop to a Dexy’s-influenced outro by way of Beatles-esque brass.
