THE ISLE OF WIGHT FESTIVAL HAS ITS VERY OWN BEACH

| On 25, May 2011

The legendary Isle of Wight Festival 2011 celebrates its 10th birthday by turning up the summer vibe and creating its own urban beach. ‘Life’s a Beach’ supported by Boxfresh will take festival goers to the seaside without them having to leave the Festival site.

Tonnes of silvery sands are being delivered to Penny Lane on the Festival site to create the original Festival beach. ‘Life’s a Beach’ with Boxfresh will be the perfect place to relax, unwind, re-energise and build sand castles! Deckchairs, beach huts and a full program of activity that includes; exercise classes, beach yoga & zumba, by day and DJ’s, live music and fire jugglers by night.

Boxfresh enjoys a special relationship with UK music, having originated at a time when the UK underground music scene exploded back into life in the late 1980s; the street wear brand has always and continues to support up and coming UK musical talent.

Matt Winton, Marketing Manager, ” We are very proud to be a partner of the Isle of Wight Festival 2011, we believe that it is an outstanding UK festival, combining an incredible line-up, unique atmosphere and the picturesque surroundings of the Isle of Wight. Our involvement in the festival is a completely natural fit for Boxfresh and will help to create wider awareness of the brand’s continued support for independent and new music both in the UK and increasingly around the world.”

Joining the world-class headliners Kings of Leon, Foo Fighters and Kasabian at the Isle of Wight Festival 2011 will be appearances from more top acts including Beady Eye, Hurts, Stornoway, The Courteeners, The Vaccines, Wild Beasts, Plan B, Two Door Cinema Club and many more, to make the first major music event of the summer the hottest weekend going.
