| On 26, May 2011

Joanne Shaw Taylor, the award-winning British blues rock guitarist/vocalist, continues her UK tour with four more concerts taking in o2 Academy Sheffield
(Friday May 27), Manchester Academy (Saturday May 28), Bristol Tunnels (Sunday May 29), and London o2 Academy Islington (Tuesday May 31).

Following her special guest appearance at Black Country Communion’s debut UK concerts in December 2010, Joanne’s current tour sees her performing songs from her latest studio album ‘Diamonds in the Dirt’, and her debut album ‘White Sugar’.

Originally championed by Eurythmics’ Dave Stewart as a guitar prodigy at the age of 16, Joanne has fast become a rising star in British blues guitar music scene. Celebrated by Classic Rock magazine, Joanne won ‘Best British Female Vocalist’ at the British Blues Awards 2010, and also received a Best New Artist Debut nomination for ‘White Sugar’.

The latest album, ‘Diamonds in the Dirt’, sees her reunited with Grammy Award-winning producer, Jim Gaines (Stevie Ray Vaughan, Santana), and like its predecessor, was recorded at Gaines’ Bessie Blue Studios in Tennessee.
