Sankeys Announces September-December Programming

Wow.

It’s been an incredible summer at Sankeys in Manchester, what with Kaluki taking over each and every Saturday with some of the world’s best and epoch-breaking electronica talent, and Fridays keeping the vibe mixed across house, techno and electro. There have also been some Spektrum Continue parties showcasing some of the scene’s hottest future garage and techno DJs and producers. Sankeys remains one of the jewels of the world’s clubs, and continues to set the pace in the UK with a constant evolution week in, week out.

The legendary club has once more proved its mettle and, whilst taking on Ibiza for the first time to great acclaim, the founding HQ of what is a world-famous operation continues to grow in Ancoats.

Now Sankeys are serving up their autumnal and early winter programming as the summer – sadly – begins to draw toward its end. They have also got a rather amazing offer – the Sankeys Season Ticket. There are just 99 available at £75 which gain entry to each and every Sankeys party from September to December – the only condition is to arrive before 12.30am. This is spectacular value and an amazing offer!

Thankfully the new season is looking rather tantalising, withy many dates now confirmed and a second wave expected soon including some stunning bookings from Manchester rave-exponents Bugged Out!. For all Sep-Dec lineups at Sankeys, go to: http://www.sankeys.info/emails/aug11/sankeys_sept_dec.html to keep fully up to date with everything.

Kaluki has made such an impact at the club during the summer that it is now running each and every Saturday. This means working with some of the world’s coolest labels and collectives to continue showcasing some of the most exciting sounds in electronica, hosting the new waves of artists and revered scene-setters across house and techno.

It’s fitting that one of Sankeys’ choicest sessions – the Jackathon – bookends the mayhem, featuring Magda, Heidi, Darius Syrossian and Ellesse on Sat 10th September and finishes the year off with guests including Heidi, Lauhau, Subb-An [live], Darius Syrossian and Ellesse on NYE. Saturdays continue to offer an education on electronica, including a 5-hour set from Kerri Chandler on Sat 8th Oct, Chez Damier and a secret special guest at the Chicago v Detroit night on Sat 5th Nov and a sublime Innervisions all nighter on Sat 3rd Dec with Henrik Schwarz [live], Dixon, Ellesse, Jozef K and Stretford Dogs Club.

There’s a mouth-watering Illusion Showcase session with Canadian experimentalist The Mole, Fabric’s Craig Richards (tbc), Tom Craven, James Cotterill, Cera Alba, Lerosa and TPot on Sat 19th Nov. And with such great new burgeoning female talent out there, Queens of Kaluki on Sat 22nd Oct features Ellen Alien, Laura Jones, Amy Bain, Hannah Hammond and Willow.

There are two Just Skank parties to savour as the party goes monthly at Sankeys, including Grooverider, Taxman, Distance and Cookie Monsta on Fri 30th Sep and Fri 14th Oct sees Mala, Kromestar, Silkie & Quest, Truth and Tunnidge all on deck duty. Other Friday highlights include Sebastian Leger’s Mistakes Music on Fri 16th Sep, Jaguar Skills, Flux Pavilion, MC Skibadee and DJ War on Fri 21st Oct and the Goodgreef 11th Birthday with John O’Callaghan, Hardwell and Marcel Woods a week later. Also don’t miss the Mixmag tour date with lineup TBC on Fri Dec 2nd.
