ANDY BURROWS ‘If I Had A Heart’
A New Single out October 3rd
via Distiller Singles Club
PLUS London Show – September 21st

Andy Burrows returns this summer with a new single, If I Had A Heart, on October 3rd via the new Distiller Singles Club label.

Burrows, the former Razorlight drummer and I Am Arrows solo, continues his adventures as a gifted and prolific writer and collaborator in multifarious projects with Mark Ronson, Tom Smith (Editors) and We Are Scientists. First, though, this glorious pop single under his own name. If I Had A Heart was, like 2010’s I Am Arrows album, Sun Comes Up Again, recorded with the producer Eliot James.

Andy Burrows will be celebrating the single release with a London show at Hoxton Underbelly, on Wednesday, September 21st. Tickets (£10) are on-sale now from www.spclive.co.uk/tickets.

As well as working on his own new solo album, of which If I Had A Heart is the first taster, Andy Burrows has been busy doing a bunch of other exciting stuff:

Now a full time member of We Are Scientists, who he joined in 2009, Burrows is currently on tour in Asia with his bandmates, Chris Cain and Keith Murray. The trio have been writing songs for a new album, and plans are afoot for recording to begin this autumn.

Andy has been writing and recording with Mark Ronson on a number of different things, including the recent televised project with Guy Chambers. More news on Burrows/Ronson collaborations soon.

Writing and recording an album with Editors frontman Tom Smith, which they hope to release later this year.

Various film soundtrack appearances including I Am Arrows’ Nice Try in Justin Timberlake’s new film, Friends With Benefits, as well as original compositions to be announced soon.

If I Had A Heart is available for pre-order now on i-Tunes or available via Distiller with a limited edition t-shirt!
