Back in February, when the band were less than one year old, LA-based four piece Vintage Trouble were playing the local circuit in their hometown of Los Angeles. Just three months later they would land in the UK for what was supposed to be a short stint. But their brand of “Primitive Soul” caught like wildfire, keeping them here for an unprecedented flurry of Live Shows, Radio Sessions, TV Appearances and more. 2011 has turned into quite an extraordinary year for this new act. Now they have announced their return. ‘Nobody Told Me’ is their new single released on the 14th November, accompanied by a full tour of the UK and Ireland.

Vintage Trouble’s performance on Later in April 2011 was one of the most talked about (if not THE most talked about) Jools Holland performance this year, the band trending worldwide on twitter just hours after the show.

The band went on to play 80 shows in 100 days – appearing in front of 400,000 people across the UK and Germany. They sold out 25 of 27 club shows – culminating in a sold out headline show at London’s Jazz Café. They played Hyde Park twice in 8 days – with Main Stage appearances at Hard Rock Calling and Wireless Festival.

Singer Ty Taylor calls Vintage Trouble’s music “primitive soul.” He says: “It’s raw, naked and hard-hitting – 1950’s Soul and Rhythm & Blues music with the balls of 1960’s rock ‘n’ roll.” The name Vintage Trouble is inspired by Taylor’s late father. “My dad lived the life of a bluesman,” the singer recalls. “He was wild.” The line-up is completed by Nalle Colt (guitar), Rick Barrio Dill (bass) and Richard Danielson (drums). Key influences include Otis Redding and Led Zeppelin.
