Denmark’s own dynamic duo, The Raveonettes, are set to release a brand new EP Into The Night on April 24th (April 23rd UK). The EP is a delightfully damaged ode to the letdowns of lost love, with dreamy harmonies that only Sune Rose Wagner and Sharin Foo could create. Into The Night offers a fresh set of songs that continue the evolution of the distinctive Rave’s sound.

It will be the first new release from The Raveonettes since last year’s critically acclaimed Raven In The Grave, which Rolling Stone’s David Fricke called, “…a new peak in their decade-long fusion of shadows and lightning” Following the release of Into The Night, the band plans to record a new full-length album at Sunset Sound (The Doors, The Beach Boys, The Rolling Stones) in Los Angeles, with a release date slated for later this year.

To celebrate their ten year anniversary, The Raveonettes will be playing two shows in their native Denmark in May, performing 2002’s Whip It On from beginning to end along with many highlights from their now vast catalogue. These shows will bring back the original live members of The Raveonettes, Manoj Ramdas and Jakob Hoyer, as well as some very special guests such as Glasvegas’ James Allan.

With North American and European tours in the works for later in the year, The Raveonettes are also set to co-headline with The Brian Jonestown Massacre for an Australian tour this May. Tickets go on sale this Friday, March 8th.
