Freakwater ‘Feels Like the Third Time’ album reissued (April 21st)

| On 15, Mar 2012

Originally issued in 1993, “Feels Like The Third Time” is an undisputed classic of the alt-country/Americana scene. In print on CD since its release, the vinyl version has been unavailable because the record plant burnt down shortly after our initial order of vinyl arrived. The record was remastered to vinyl by Roger Seibel at SAE and also includes a download card. Recorded with Brad Wood at the now infamous (and closed) Idful Studios, it features seven originals and five covers by the likes of Conway Twitty, Woody Guthrie, and Nick Lowe.

This is the record that solidified Freakwater as an up and coming voice in the world of country music, as well as being one of the records that helped kick start the whole No Depression/Americana craze.
