Mister Ed (X-Screaming Banshee Aircrew) comes back with a more serious project which brings you melodic Goth with a hint of ‘Bauhaus’ to your ears. This might sound in the past but retro is really in at the moment. I love the vocals they are very post-Esq-Goth and you can hear atmospheric sounds that are created in a moody and dense society of pain. You can see that this is different to a lot of music out their this actually sounds like it has been recorded twenty years ago and I personally love it. The song ‘Strange Disease’ really hooks you in and then you are chucked right back out by the epic song, simply titled ‘Your Song’ but it is the title track ‘Partly Faithful’ that really makes you realize you have stumbled on something quite special. Will this be popular, probably not, will it sell a lot of records, Probably not, but will it be a cult masterpiece I would say yes.
