A stomping electro number from the reliable duo, seemingly influenced by old school hip-house and early nineties techno. The result is a glossy thumper of a rave track, given a contemporary sheen with its creative mix of ambient effects and slick grooves. Whilst it is a perfect accompaniment to some grimy dance floor amusement, it lacks the maturity, invention or repeat-listenability of their best work. Consequently, I doubt it will prove to be as memorable a classic as some of the Armada’s biggest hits that we all know and love. Nethertheless, I’m sure it will be a welcome floor-filling addition to the repertoire of many clubs for what remains of the summer.
