The Tuesday Club’s Dolly Dynamite EP is a creative force to be reckoned with. The band works on a beautiful vocal game of dialogue, and theirs is a brilliant mix of punk rock’s scariest moments and the versatile and flamboyant musical mastery of the likes of The Dresden Dolls. This three track EP alone makes a bold artistic statement. The choral quality of Money Means Nothing hits you like a manifesto, and They May Look Cute (But These Dogs Bite) is the perfect balance between fragility and strength. This is clever while staying absolutely exuberant, and The Tuesday Club are one of the most exciting acts I’ve heard all year.
