Online charity auction site eSolidar have partnered with Field Day to raise money for housing charity Shelter.
Following the huge success of their 10th anniversary on 11 – 12 June, Field Day are auctioning off a set of one-of-a-kind canvases, hand painted by artists at this year’s event. The auction will run on eSolidar until Friday 8th July.
Music lovers and fans of the festival will be able to bid on works of art by the likes of Deerhunter, Roots Manuva and Laigon Boyz (Boy Better Know), who all painted canvases backstage at this year’s event.
Signed limited edition tea towels by James Blake, Goat, The Avalanches, Fat White Family, Moon Duo, Beach House and Mbongwana Star are also up for grabs.
All proceeds will go to Shelter, Field Day’s charity of choice, which helps millions of people every year struggling with homelessness through professional, advice, support and legal services. The money raised from the auction will go towards Shelter’s Fix Renting campaign, which seeks to make London’s rented homes safer and more secure for all.
