ESCAPE THE FATE reveal ‘Issues’ video from their eagerly anticipated self-titled 3rd album!

| On 01, Oct 2010

Las Vegas four piece, ESCAPE THE FATE, are finally ready to roll out again with their amazing new, self titled album Escape The Fate on November 1st (November 2nd in the US) on their new home at Universal/Interscope. Produced by Don Gilmore (Linkin Park, Bullet For My Valentine), the record is set to build on the massive international success of previous album This War Is Ours and confirm ESCAPE THE FATE as one of the most exciting new rock acts in the world. The band will also be joining Bullet For My Valentine on all their European and US dates in 2010 as main support.

Following on from the recent dark and industrial teaser track ‘Massacre’, fed out to fans through the bands Myspace site in August, Escape The Fate‘s first official single, “Issues” will be released on October 25th. Fans in the UK will get their first chance to see the band again when they play two sold out shows in London at the Islington Academy on the 6thand 7th of December.

After releasing their first two albums Dying Is Your Latest Fashion (2004) and This War Is Ours (2006) on previous label Epitaph, the band were snapped up by Interscope Records at the turn of 2010 and recorded Escape The Fate in the spring of 2010 at NRG and Pan Am Studios in Los Angeles. Don (Gilmore) had been a fan of the band for a while and was first choice by some distance to be the perfect person to help them realize their vision to the fullest.

Max (Green, Bass) reveals, “Don believed in every single song, and we put a lot of love, attention and focus into each note from front to back. He gave guidance, but he allowed us to do our thing. There’s character and attitude to this record; it’s not mechanical in the slightest. You can hear and feel emotion rising and falling. The album takes you on a ride.” Front man Craig (Mabbit) continues, “We feel like this is our first real record. There were always so many styles in our music, but we bring them all together here. We wanted to get a little darker this time around too.”

With Escape The Fate the band have fully realized and massively fleshed out their unique style with flourishes of electronics and a metallic crunch. “There’s no subtlety with us,” says Robert (Ortitz, Drums). “ We’ve finally found our sound. It examines every emotion from anger to anxiety to happiness. This album will make you feel something“. Monte (Money, Guitar) adds, “We wanted the record to resemble a Tim Burton movie. It’s a dark fantasy in its own right and we put our spin on rock music.”

“I want fans to get sucked into our world,” says Craig. “If you’re having a shitty day, you can pop in the album, and there’s a track to help you out. If you want to go out and have a good time, there’s a track for that. We want to be a part of people’s lives. We want to be the soundtrack to your day. At this point in my life, I’ve said everything I wanted to say on this album.”
