‘HARD ROCK PRESENTS ABSOLUTE RADIO SESSIONS’
TO HOST EXCLUSIVE MANIC STREET PREACHERS SHOW

ACCLAIMED ROCKERS TO PERFORM LIVE AT HARD ROCK CAFE LONDON
TUESDAY 30 NOVEMBER 2010

Hard Rock Cafe and Absolute Radio have today announced that the Manic Street Preachers are set to perform an exclusive show at Hard Rock Cafe London as part of the monthly series of shows ‘Hard Rock Presents Absolute Radio Sessions’.

On Tuesday 30 November, the Manics will perform tracks from their critically acclaimed, UK Top 3 album ‘Postcards From a Young Man’, described by The Independent newspaper as “surely the Manics’ best album since Everything Must Go” as well as favourites from their extensive back catalogue.

The gig will be hosted by Absolute Radio Hometime DJ Geoff Lloyd, and tickets can only be won by tuning into Absolute Radio or logging onto www.absoluteradio.co.uk <http://www.absoluteradio.co.uk/> .

Listeners to the national radio station will be able to hear the session in full on Geoff Lloyd Hometime Show from 7pm, on Monday 6th December, plus the gig will be available to watch online together with an exclusive interview, on the Absolute Radio website.

After nearly two decades of stellar releases including 8 UK top ten albums, andnumerous hit singles and anthems including ‘(Its Not War) Just the End of Love’, ‘Motorcycle Emptiness’, ‘La Tristessa Durera’, ‘A Design For Life’, ‘Your Love Alone…’  and ‘Motown Junk’, the Manic Street Preachers have built a massive and fiercely loyal fanbase and continue to spread their distinctive and powerful sound far and wide, amassing numerous awards in the process. The live stage is where the music explodes and the Hard Rock stage will be the perfect intimate setting for such an exclusive and simply unmissable show.

The Manic Street Preachers next single will be ‘Some Kind Of Nothingness’ out December 6th and they are currently on an extensive sold out UK tour so this gig is a great opportunity for fans who have missed out on tickets for the tour to see the band in such an intimate setting.

The Manics follow in the footsteps of Editors, Squeeze, Scouting For Girls and Amy Macdonald, all which have headlined previous ‘Hard Rock Presents Absolute Radio Sessions’ shows, which take place at the world famous Hard Rock Cafe in London’s Mayfair.

‘Hard Rock Presents Absolute Radio Sessions’ continue Hard Rock’s commitment to hosting live music events – within the last few years the likes of Aerosmith, Stevie Wonder, The Charlatans and Fun Lovin’ Criminals have all performed intimate shows at Hard Rock Cafe London – as well as amplify Absolute Radio’s commitment to delivering the best live music to its listeners.
