Help Stamp Out Loneliness – Help Stamp Out Loneliness

| On 08, May 2011

‘Help Stamp Out Loneliness’ is the brand new self-titled début album from Manchurian krautrock inspired pop sextet ‘Help Stamp Out Loneliness.’

Opening with the beautiful ‘Cottonopolis + Promises’ which instantly displays the bands unique but relate-able sound. Followed by the equally beautiful and undeniable catchy ‘Angeline’ which welcomes you into the wonderfully fresh soundscape of Nico-esque vocals (provided by front-woman D. Lucille Campbell) and jangly pop instrumental accompaniments otherwise known as ‘Help Stamp Out Loneliness.’

Continuing in this fashion of daydream float on by krautrock inspired pop, ‘Help Stamp Out Loneliness’ becomes increasingly more addictive as the album progresses, especially during the second half of the album as shown through the beautifully emotive tracks; ‘Me. Sola & C’, ‘Cellophane’ and ‘Tracy Tracy’ before coming to a close with the simply remarkable ‘Split Infinitives.’

Overall, a fantastic début from start to finish.
