Indie rockers NOISETTES are confirmed to perform on the Main Stage at GuilFest 2011 on Saturday 16th July.  Famous for their explosive live shows, Noisettes have toured the world and released two studio albums since first appearing in 2003.  Their wildly popular 2009 single release “Don’t Upset The Rhythm (Go Baby Go)” achieved the number 2 spot in the UK singles charts and their most recent album, Wild Young Hearts achieved number 7 on the UK album charts.  A highly anticipated new third album is due for release this year.

ECHO & THE BUNNYMEN will be supporting Roger Daltrey from The Who on Friday night on the Main Stage at GuilFest this year.  Fronted by Ian McCulloch, Echo & The Bunnymen have achieved a cult following, releasing a huge 11 studio albums, including 5 UK top ten albums and 30 singles including an enormous 13 UK top 40 singles – such as “The Cutter”, “The Killing Moon” and “Nothing Lasts Forever”.

Irish Rockers, THE SAW DOCTORS return to GuilFest’s Main Stage on Sunday 17th July.  Formed in 1986 in Tuam, County Galway, they have achieved eighteen Top 30 singles in Ireland, including three number ones. Their first number one, “I Useta Lover,” topped the Irish charts for nine consecutive weeks in 1990, and still holds the record for the country’s all-time biggest-selling single.  Renowned for their live performances, the band also has a cult following, especially in Ireland, the United Kingdom, and the United States. On 15 February 2008, they received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Meteor Ireland Music Awards.

The Kane FM presents Funky End Dance Tent is also beginning to take shape!  Topping the bill on Friday 15th July is NERO. NERO have become a big name in both the Drum and Bass and Dubstep scenes, gaining huge support from DJs like Andy C, Grooverider and Friction, as well as radio airplay from Zane Lowe, Jo Whiley, Pete Tong, Annie Mac, Rob Da Bank, Steve Lamacq and Fabio & Grooverider, to name just a few.

Headlining the tent on Saturday 16th July will be PENDULUM (DJ SET) back by popular demand following their fantastic DJ set back in 2009.  Pendulum have taken the world by storm since they formed in 2002, becoming masters of the drum and bass scene, and then breaking through into the main stream with the release of their critically acclaimed albums, Hold Your Colour, In Silico, and Immersion.  The last time they played at GuilFest, they truly stole the show so expect an incredible performance from these guys this July.

Supporting PENDULUM (DJ SET) on Saturday night is MODESTEP (DJ SET). Modestep are a dubstep act that combine a varied range of musical tastes such as Rock, Motown, 2-step, Drum & Bass and Soul with the aim of bringing something different to the Dubstep scene. Deep, soulful vocals mixed with their signature filthy basslines, Modestep offer a commercially acceptable and radio friendly form of Dubstep that still has major dance-floor appeal.

As regular visitors will know, GuilFest is not just about the music!  All over the site you will find attractions to entertain and amuse throughout the weekend.  As usual you can find the eFestivals Cosmic Comedy Zone, featuring some of the top comics on the circuit today, the wonderful Man In The Moon Theatre tent, The Disco Inferno Zone, Farmer Giles Barndance, and much, much more!
