The Orchard – Dead Town

| On 18, Oct 2011

Brawling their way out of a faceless & deprived nothing town, located somewhere in the Midlands; The Orchard have begun their musical blitz on stereos & venues across the country.

The ‘Dead Town’ quintet are unashamedly selfish in their musical endeavors, wanting nothing more than to entertain themselves with their coal dust heavy blend of sleaze Metal, Stoner Rock & 80s influenced Punk. This coupled with an overwhelming desire to prove the mindless masses of their hometown wrong, provides the drive to stay on the road and maraud from dive to dive with their infectious debauchery.

Having only formed in February 2011, the summer has witnessed The Orchard make a sizable impact. They have been picked up by Sink Or Swim Management, played along side UK new comers POLAR. & Mallory Knox, supported legendary Punk band the UK Subs as well as being robbed for hundreds of pounds by shady promotors. Most significantly they have recorded their the aptly titled 3 track debut EP ‘Dead Town’ with Tom Mitchener of Spy Catcher, which will be released on the 07/11/11 with the accompanying music video for title track ‘Dead Town.’

The Orchard have created their own distinct niche. They are the welcome outcasts, always well received at Hardcore, Punk or Metal shows, without ever confirming to one precise genre. This wide appeal can be traced back to the bands diverse span of influences, which ranges from Guns ‘n’ Roses, Down, Black Sabbath to contemporary bruisers such as Every Time I Die &

Cancer Bats.

This is music to aid you through the everyday drudgery of life. This is music to get parties started & music to get parties shut down. Don’t worry about ever having to visit a place like ‘Dead Town,’ because it is coming to you!
