Swound! New single ‘In My Head’ released date + video

| On 22, Nov 2011

Nottingham based four-piece Swound! will be releasing new single ‘In My Head’ on 28th November. This will be followed by the band’s debut album ‘Into The Sea’ which will be released on the band’s own label The Grelmin Corporation early next year. Swound! will be touring with Electric Six before Christmas (tour dates below) and are also plotting live dates for next year.

Swound!’s first single together ‘What’s Your Poison?’ gathered the band some serious momentum at press and radio and a few singles later Swound! were invited to play Radio 1’s Big Weekend. They were the first unsigned band to contribute a track to USA’s crossover kid’s phenomenon “Yo Gabba Gabba!” (and one of only two British bands ever). All the while, they gained more fans and plaudits at radio from the likes of Steve Lamacq, Huw Stevens, Rob Da Bank, John Kennedy and Ian Camfield which led to successful live sessions at Radio 1, XFM and Kerrang! radio.

Proud of their independent achievements, Swound! have taken responsibility for their own career path, filming videos (‘Oh No!’ was critically acclaimed by none other than Edgar Wright, director of Shaun of the Dead and Scott Pilgrim), releasing music (with successful mini album ‘Hello Future, Our Name is Swound!’) and producing their own artwork throughout.
