Veronica Falls have already had a massive 2011, with the band signing with Bella Union and releasing their long awaited eponymous debut LP to unanimously glowing reviews, not to mention going on tour across the UK, Europe and USA and selling out shows left, right and centre.

 

The band are now entering into an even more exciting year with a gorgeous, brand new track, “My Heart Beats”, a stomping, storming pop anthem which introduces an even bigger sound for Veronica Falls. Recorded with Rory Brattwell on a freezing boat on the Thames last week, it is beautiful, soaring, anthemic, propulsive but, as is always the way with Veronica Falls, packs a dark punch at its heart. It represents a tantalising taste of things to come for the band, as it is the first preview of brand new recordings since the debut.

 

The band are also playing their biggest UK tour to date in March, including a headline show at the Scala. There will also be festival dates to be announced for the summer, so keep your eyes peeled…
