It’s Only Love is the new single by Matt Cardle. The overall feel is more of pop-rock, though it does feel hard to categorise in just one genre so easily.

The vocals are very powerful, conveying a very powerful effect overall. Matt Cardle’s voice blends well with his instrumentals, which in themselves are quite bold and strong. There is a rich harmony in the instrumental which isn’t obscure in any way; it’s very clear and striking. The drums have been used to great effect; they keep the rhythm and are just noticeable throughout (not overpowering).

Overall, this single is very pleasing to listen to. It is a definite song that you could bob your head along to while doing other things – very catchy.
