Who are you and where are you from?

We’re a rock/electronica band called Lost In Atlantis from Los Angeles, California. We formed initially in Phoenix, Arizona but moved to California in hopes of establishing an LA fan base and better connections in the industry.

What inspired you to get into music?

Personally, I’ve always been a performer. The stage is my home and everything else seems foreign too me. If I could I’d live on the stage singing everyday! We all have our various inspirations that someone have accumulated and form what our band sounds like today, “rocktronica” we call it. A perfect blend of rock with dancy synths and hooky pop melodies.

We have inspirations of making it big. I’ve always seen myself and envisioned myself performing on hug arena shows!

What have you done?

We’ve collectively released three albums: Silent World, Lover Freak and This World Is Ours: Part 1. To be released: This World Is Ours: Part II.

We’ve won multiple completions being featured on KTLA for Fords Gimme the Gig 1 and Ford Gimme the Gig 2. Opened up for national acts like Sick Puppies and even went on a two week run on Vans Warped Tour hand-picked by Kevin Lyman himself.

We’ve been involved in two really band accidents. The first on our first tour ever, a semi truck hit us and our tour bus rolled over four times into a ditch. Fortunately and a true miracle we all survived. The second accident was when we where following Vans Warped Tour we got hit by a drunk driver. These two big accidents help us gain a better understanding of how fragile and beautiful life is and it can be taken away from you instantly. We’ve been able to walk away from our horrible accidents and we formed a couple of tours focused on perseverance and never giving up on your dreams! We have been able perform for thousands of kids at high schools, colleges, venues and military bases. Spreading our message of positivity and never giving up!

What are you like live?

Best show was in Fort Bliss Texas! Best tour was Vans Warped Tour! We’re a super high energetic band! We’re all of the stage when we’re live and your head would probably hurt afterwards from all the head banging!

What makes you different?

We love our fans! We communicate with all of them and our live show is so much fun and everyone in the room and feel it too! Just come out to a show and see for yourself!

I download from iTunes and when I’m broke I stream off of Spotify.

What have you been listening to?

As I’m doing this interview I’m listening to my all time favourite band, Incubus!

What are your aspirations for the future?

Release our next EP and go on tour… world domination anyone?
