Love, control and power are the prevailing themes on Ingrid Olava’s debut UK release, a four track EP available from October 25th.

The Please Welcome EP features tracks from Ingrid’s sophomore album The Guest – a No 2 hit in her native Norway – and live recordings from her performance at this year’s Oya festival.

Kicking off with Warrior Song – “an anthem to a friend who tried to save someone who didn’t want saving”  the EP also includes the live and extended version of Won’t Be Silenced – a song that deals with domestic abuse and is a highlight of every Olava performance.  Live recordings of Only Just Begun and Back To Love wrap up proceedings.

Ingrid and her regular band – Erland Dahlen (drums & percussion) and Jo Berger Myhre (bass and guitar) – headlined London’s Luminaire and performed at the Great Escape festival earlier this year.  Ingrid returns for five London dates in October – three of which will be solo shows as indicated below **
