Liars announce new UK Dates

Liars announce details of a new single, Proud Evolution, set for release on 18 October 2010 and UK dates in November including Heaven, Brighton Concorde and Leeds Constellations festival (full details below)

The single – featuring Thom Yorke’s remix of Proud Evolution, plus a live version from Williamsburg andexclusive new tracks, Come NowTotal Frown and Strangers, is the latest from Sisterworld, recently voted # 1 in The Quietus’ Best Albums Of 2010 So Far and featured on MySpace and NME’s albums of the first half of 2010.

Sisterworld is out now on CD, double vinyl and 2CD version: the second disc of the 2CD release sees each track on Sisterworld remixed and reinterpreted by a host of artists including Atlas Sound, Devendra Banhart, Fol Chen and Alan Vega while the unique packaging for the 2CD and deluxe vinyl editions, designed by Brian Roettinger / Hand Held Heart (Grammy nominated and Rolling Stone award winning for his work with No Age)allows a surreal glimpse into Sisterworld.

The band’s UK dates follow their recent headline performances at Standon Calling (“Liars are tonight’s headliners and they own the slot” – NME), Big Chill and France’s La Route du Rock.
