Clockwork Radio – Sketch EP

| On 06, Oct 2011

Clockwork Radio are set to release their third EP Sketch through Poly Tune records on 26th September (digitally) and October 10th (Physically).

Clockwork Radio includes members not only from various musical backgrounds but also from various nations, in an attempt to fuse such diversity into creating music that would transcend boundaries. This fusion sees genres as eclectic as electronica, funk and alternative rock coalescing into a cohesive whole described as “imaginary collision between Bob Marley and Pink Floyd”.

Clockwork Radio – So Will I by clockworkradio

Lead single ‘So Will I’ sees the band sending out some serious (or not so serious as the case may be) chilled afro-pop vibes. Tropical percussion rhythms meet upbeat guitar and chanted vocals forming a perfect single for summer, or for any time of the year for that matter. It is a true representation of the Afro-Cuban and Flamenco influences the band picked up from busking and performing street shows during their European tours. The EP also features a re-worked version of previous single ‘Please You’ originally from their sophomore release the Soul Harmonic EP.

These tours, both across Europe and in the UK, have seen the band share stages with the likes of The Prodigy, Supergrass and Bombay Bicycle Club achieving a great deal of national and international airplay and press along the way.
