Introducing Kutosis

| On 23, Oct 2011

The product of just two weekends in the studio with former Test Icicle Rory Attwell (Male Bonding, Fair Ohs, Veronica Falls, Screaming Tea Party), ‘Fanatical Love’ sees the trio not only hone their craft but really push the boundaries of their multifaceted sound, and successfully blend their wide pool of influences – from the infectious, guitar-driven hooks of ‘Shadows’ to the hypnotic electronic rhythms of ‘Battle Lake’.

Not content with just experimenting musically, the release heralds the start of an ambitious video project working with 10 film-makers to produce a video for each track on the album, all of which will be released as a limited-edition double CD/DVD on Barely Regal Records. As a preview of what’s to come, the video for Salton Sea is available to view online now – http://vimeo.com/29492679 .With film-makers ranging from Ellen of Los Campesinos fame, to Welsh Bafta-winner Matt Brown, each video provides a different visual interpretation of the band’s sound.

All films will then be screened at Cardiff’s Chapter Arts Centre on 7th November as an unusual take on the record release party, before the band head out on a two week tour of the UK in November.
