CHRISTINA PERRI ANNOUNCES FIRST UK HEADLINE TOUR – JANUARY 2012

In the space of a year America’s hottest new export, Christina Perri has gone from waitressing in a restaurant in Beverly Hills to having a Top 10 album and Top 5 single in the UK! This whirlwind doesn’t look set to slow down anytime soon as she has just announced her first ever UK headline tour. It will be kicking off in Glasgow on 15 January with shows in Manchester, Brighton, Birmingham and London’s prestigious Shepherds Bush Empire on 18 January.

Christina’s debut album ‘lovestrong’ was only released in the UK in September and has already sold 63,000 to date with her hit single ‘Jar Of Hearts’ now selling over 491,000 copies. She recently made a quick stop in the UK to play a one off sold-out show for fans at Monto Water Rats in London which was streamed worldwide via uStream and had over 10 thousand hits throughout the broadcast and 6.2 thousand unique viewers.
