If there is a more summery drink than Lipton Ice Tea then we’ll eat our own trilbies. In an effort to kickstart your summer mornings, the refreshing iced tea brand is hosting a bunch of events, with the sole aim of breaking you into your day.

For example, a load of ‘Daybreakers’ utilised a fantastic 100m water slide at King’s Boulevard in the centre of London. Check out the video below to see some joyful Londoners splishing and splashing down the slide – some as early as 7:15am (no, we’ve never heard of this time either) before and during their commute! As one of the sliders says in the video: “everyday should start with a water slide”.

Naturally, people were able to enjoy some delicious Lipton Ice Tea – and for free of course. Now if the water slide wasn’t enough of a reason to get up in the morning, surely some tasty, free Lipton Ice Tea is?

The #BeADaybreaker events do not end with the giant water slide: other morning events in the series include a Thames cruise, daybreak sets by musicians (e.g. Hudson Taylor performing an acoustic set at the Sky Garden) and heading to the V&A to be “surrounded” by Savage Beauty.

Lipton Ice Tea’s series of early morning events is the ideal wakeup call for anyone who struggles to get up on the morning – whether that is to head to work or simply to enjoy these sunny, summer mornings.
