FALCON FIELDS – Hometown City

| On 08, Jan 2016

The remarkable charity Awards for Young Musicians united with the 7/7 Tavistock Square Memorial Trust and Association Francaise des Victimes du Terrorism to release a charity Christmas single entitled ‘Hometown City’.

Anonymous London producer “Falcon Fields” felt inspired by the resilience of Londoners faced by the 7/7  London bombings of 2005 and this song was originally written to reflect the 10th anniversary of this event. Recently it was updated after the horrific terrorist attacks in Paris.

The single features the talented London-based Awards for Young Musicians winner Chris Hatwell, an exceptionally fine pianist and guitarist who received four years of funding from AYM towards his studies at Junior Trinity. There are also beautiful vocals from Zola Bridgey & Amanda Ward and the charming artwork in the music video is by Rosie Reed, a graduate of The Ruskin School of Art.

This is an urgent, touching and hypnotic song with a powerful message of hope which is likely to have meaning to people in the free world who treasure their right to live without fear. It was released on iTunes on Wednesday 16th November, 2015 and first broadcast on BBC London news on Friday 11 December.

Proceeds from the sale of the single will be shared by the three charities. Funds received by AYM will go towards their #Ambition1000 campaign.
