Simply by watching The Beautiful Word’s music video one can see how much effort has gone into this project (it’s a cute homemade stop motion feature). The way the video is done could come across as childish but it adds nicely to the music, fitting in well with the style of the song. ‘May Not Be Love’ is simple but melodic and effective. A darling little love song with sweet vocals, pretty guitar melodies and a sparkle of glockenspiel. Wonderfully charming and indie.
