This month Swedish band School released a debut UK single called ‘SoLong’. The track is in line with the Scandinavian trend for accurate dream-pop still bearing some individual marks. School start this song with shoe-gazing sonics, then carry it through pulsating guitars and drums. The soulful and clear vocals of Alice Botéus, which lead the development of the track, are a jewel of the band’s sound. All in all, ‘SoLong’ will be appealing for those who explore modern soundscapes as well as for those longing for the indie guitar music from the 80s.

‘SoLong’ appeared with the help of Swedish label Luxury Records. As for their other bright releases and European tours – they are already scheduled.
