CLOUD 9 FESTIVAL MAIN LINE-UP ANNOUNCEMENTS

Sunderland’s finest rock band The Futureheads will be headlining this year’s Cloud 9. From Leeds is The Sunshine Underground, Manchester’s hi-energy indie pop stars The Answering Machine, and all the way from Italy are Too Young To Love offering a psychedelic dream pop extravaganza. Added to the main stage Huw Stephens favourite - Rotating Leslie.

HOP FARM CONFIRMS MANU CHAO, GRAHAM COXON & CHRISSIE HYNDE

MANU CHAO LA VENTURA, GRAHAM COXON and CHRISSIE HYNDE WITH JP JONES have been announced to play the 4th annual Hop Farm Music Festival.

Other acts just announced by Vince’s Powers, No Branding and No Sponsorship festival include: GUILLEMOTS, TIM BOOTH, FRANKIE & THE HEARTSTRINGS, DAMIEN DEMPSEY, THE DUKE SPIRIT, KITTY DAISY & LEWIS, CLOUD CONTROL,GOLDHEART ASSEMBLY, THE SECRET SISTERS and LIZ AND THE LIGERS have also been added to the bill.

The Brighton based three piece Flashguns burst onto stage at Lexington with Come And See The Lights and, despite their young looks, any doubt about their ability as musician is quickly dispelled as they tear up the stage, with a great energy which matches their impressive musicianship.

Lead singer Sam Johnston knows how to get the crowd entertainment: he has a wonderful command of the stage and, despite his small frame, he doesn’t lack of swagger and moves.
